My _____ isn’t working

Do you mean your email, computer, scanner or something else? If the phone or Internet isn’t working then refer to one of the following troubleshooting pages:


At this point, both your Internet connection and the phones should be working fine. So now check the following:

  • Are all cables properly connected?
  • Does the machine power on (and the appropriate lights come on to indicate this)?
  • Are you able to connect to the Internet? Can you connect to google.com, elmstonegroup.com, egpm.myresman.com?
  • OK, now we’re getting somewhere. Are you able to login to whatever isn’t working?

To say something or other isn’t working does not help us very much with troubleshooting. You need to provide details explaining what you are seeing that makes you think something is not working correctly.


Problem reporting

At the very least please explain:

  1. What you were trying to do.
  2. How you were trying to do it including what web sites or email addresses you were using along the way. [Do not include passwords.]
  3. Any error messages you received (word for word).

Then send the above details in an email message to support@elmstonegroup.com. If you cannot access your email for some reason then reach out to the Area Supervisor and provide ALL of the above information for her to send in.
